After serving for 15 years as the internet’s leading marketplace for ammonia cooling and heating technologies and trusted source for industry news, Ammonia21.com is shutting down, with the website’s marketplace and news moving to the brand new NaturalRefrigerants.com.

“I’m really proud of what we’ve done with Ammonia21.com, which is globally recognized as a trusted source of information,” said Marc Chasserot, Founder and CEO of ATMOsphere, the publisher of Ammonia21.com and NaturalRefrigerants.com.

The new NaturalRefrigerants.com is a one-stop shop for natural refrigerant news and products. It consolidates ATMOsphere’s three previous websites (R744.com, Hydrocarbons21.com and Ammonia21.com) into a single platform showcasing the latest in sustainable HVAC&R technologies.

Unlike Ammonia21.com, which focused strictly on cooling and heating with ammonia, NaturalRefrigerants.com will cover a broad spectrum of natural refrigerants, including ammonia and CO2 (R744), hydrocarbons like propane (R290) and isobutane (R600a), water (R718) and air (R729).

“By showcasing all natural refrigerants on one site, we can clearly show the full range of what they can offer the HVAC&R sector,” said Chasserot. “Each refrigerant has its strengths, and, between them, all applications are covered.”

Ammonia21.com will continue to function as an archive of past news stories, but the site will soon be sunset, with all links to past content redirecting to NaturalRefrigerants.com. Readers are encouraged to visit the new site and subscribe to the NaturalRefrigerants.com newsletter to continue to stay up-to-date on the latest industry news and innovations.
