The first-ever ATMOsphere conference on natural refrigerants to be held exclusively in French will take place in Paris on 5 July 2018, at the InterContinental Paris Marceau.
ATMO France serves as a platform bringing together the French-speaking HVAC&R market while preserving the global ATMOsphere format. The programme includes sessions on regulations and standards and market trends, as well as an end user panel, case study presentations and several networking opportunities.
One of the highlights of the conference will be French MP Matthieu Orphelin’s presentation during the regulations and standards session regarding the proposed French hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) tax, which will affect producers and importers of HFC fluids. The tax is expected to increase in the coming years from €15 per tonne in 2019 to €70 per tonne in 2022. Participants will have the opportunity to provide input during the session.
The end user panel features representatives of two major supermarkets that use natural refrigerants, Carrefour and Delhaize, who will speak about their experiences working with the technology. Amongst the end user attendees will also be Lidl, Monoprix, Lactalis, Cooperl, Saint Louis Financial Group and Leader Price.
Building on the opportunities and challenges outlined in the end user panel, the market trends panel will identify key trends in the natural refrigerants market.
The last session of the conference sees leading manufacturers Profroid, Engie Axima, Carel, LU-VE, Güntner, Panasonic, Tewis and AF Consulting present innovative case studies with CO2 and ammonia refrigerants, covering commercial and industrial applications.
The event will conclude with a networking drinks reception.
