The ATMOsphere Review Panel has selected an ammonia case study for the second round, from Azane, to be presented at ATMOsphere America 2017.

Taking place in Loews Coronado Bay Resort, San Diego, ATMOsphere America 2017 serves as the leading forum for discussion about the business case for natural refrigerants in North America.

Over 400 participants from the US, Canada, Mexico and the rest of the world will take part in the discussion together with end users. Attendees will hear about latest technology, legislation and innovation related to natural refrigerants.

The presentation is:

Azane | Diverse applications for low-charge ammonia by Caleb Nelson

Packaged low-charge ammonia systems are becoming more popular due to their ability to increase system efficiency and safety while reducing lifecycle costs. Systems with optimised refrigerant charges and reliable designs were developed over 20 years ago in Europe and are now being installed in the US for several multinational, multi-billion dollar companies.

Applications range from industrial processes to HVAC&R and provide unique benefits to end users while allowing for a future-proof, natural solution.  In this presentation, Azane™ will review case studies that highlight the unique benefits of packaged low-charge ammonia systems as well as give an update on recent activity in the US.
